I'm sold on the A-26, the canopy shape looks right, and you guys seem to be spot on about the gun pods.

Looking to me like a 386th BG 9th AF A-26B taken in France in 1945.
But, I could be wrong :shock: :wink:

Definately an A-26, sans engine and tail. You can make out the extra-thick skin panels under the cockpit.
