I received the following email:

Quote:
I am an r/c modeler and I would like to know what is the name of the colors used on the primary trainers such as the PT-17.

Any suggestions? I know absolutely nothing about model aircraft paint.

What color is the real thing? I think that is what he wants to know so he can find something similar in model paint.

I sent the person a link to this thread. I was hoping to put my fingers on a T.O. that had more information, but this is all I have at the moment:

Surely he could just walk into his local R/C model shop & buy it OTC. Shop here has every color ever used by just about every branch of the military on every continent.
