A friend sent a scan, a NICE aerial shot, of the line up at Seattle last week. Who may I contact to get the "okay" to post this in Japan?

Operators are -

707-320 - Omega Air Tanker (Civilian operator. Aircraft is modified to have a drogue reel in the centerline. Contracted to fuel for the Navy and Marine Corps)

717-200 - AirTran

727-200 - FedEx (this particular aircraft was originally delivered to Eastern)

737-800 - Alaska Airlines

747-200 - Rolls Royce (testbed for the 787's new engine)

757-200 - Continental Airlines

767-300ER - Delta Airlines

777-300ER - Air France

Too bad they didn't use the real 717 - the KC-135.

Yeah, putting the DC-9 in that lineup is a cheat.

But notice what else is there, off to the side. The Dreamlifter off to the left. On the lawn is a B-47 and what might be a 247, DC-3, or perhaps Curtiss Commando? And is that a Concorde on the back lot?

Notably missing: B-17, B-52, Stearman.

Yeah that is nice to put a McDonnell Douglas airplane in the line up...Just like they claim the P-51 is theirs... :roll:

Aircraft to the left of the B-47 is the flying DC-2...Also note the prototype 747 there...

I still can't get used to "Boeing F/A-18" and "Boeing F-15". And while we're at it, I also have trouble with "Lockheed F-16". :roll:

The 717 will always be an MD-80 or DC-9 to me!

Oh there it is.....the B-47 Stratojet above the Boeing 747..... :lol:

And I agree that the "Boeing 717" does not really belong in the line-up....It is not a real Boeing 7X7 or 7XX by a long shot.

It is truly a "DC-9/MD-80/90" series for sure.
