Just an observation regarding the Mustang photos.

Note P-51B shows Hamilton Standard w/ cuffs and de-icing fluid orifices at root of cuffs. The P-51D does not. Have not been able to establish IF the de-icing feature was ever used on P-51's with that prop. My current leaning is that they did not (no apparent place for fluid resiviour, nor mention of operation in manuals etc)), but both types were seen fitted to P-51B/C/D during the war. Corrections please!!??
