Aviation Day at Bradley Int. Airport Ct.

Sun Jul 15, 2007 3:05 am

I was wondering if any WIX'ers went on Sat July 14.
The company I work for (P&W) was the presenting sponsor.
Got to sit in a A-10 from the Ct. ANG and into the NEAM for free.
Snucked into the restoration hangar (there is always one door thats not locked 8) ) and into the A-26,shes coming along nicely. Looked like they had two turrets for her.
Did not see that old B-29 nose. :?
I was told the P-51 racer is a parts.
I havn't been to the museum in about 2 years. Looked alittle lean to me,not much outside anymore. :( Maybe thats their plan for better or for worse,if it cann't be fixed-up and moved inside sell/trade it off?

Sorry no pics, I was on the bike.

Phil
