Wonder why they're selling? The Sky Soldiers demo was a pretty sweet show when I saw them last year at Janesville.

That's really a shame she's up for sale....

On an interesting side note, a large amount of parts from my Bou (61-2389) were removed by the AAHF to aid in the repairs of '49 when she was damaged by a hurricane a few years back. This was before I found/acquired '389, and while she was never going to fly again, it's nice to know that some of her still lives on in ole '49!

For any rich oil tycoons who may be reading this and wish to make a donation, the AAF would absolutely LOVE to be '49's new home! I just hope that who ever the new owner will be, that they'll continue to operate and display her...

I wish I could bring that beauty back to Connecticut and have her based out here! She's got some local history with her!

I had a chance to see this group perform at the last Wings of Eagles airshow in Elmira. Ever since the Kee Bird documentary came out, I always thought the Caribou was one cool bird.
