Geneseo - Fighter Factory

Mon Jul 09, 2007 11:34 pm

I was at the Fighter Factory this weekend and was told they did nott hink they were going to make the show. The Hawker is in Canada getting painted and the Spit is having MX problems. They were not sure if they were going to have it running in time for Geneseo.

Of note, they did have a Cobra in the hangar with russian markings. It did not appear to be flyable and it lacked an N-number. Anyone have any idea as to the hostory of this bird? I has a low quality pic on my phone that i will try to post up soon.

That stinks, but I wonder why they might not be able to bring two of their other aircraft like the Mustang and Corsair.

P-40 would be nice.

That really sucks. :( I hope someone can replace him.

I'd love to see the P-40, Corsair or anything else from the collection. I would love to see them switch things up a bit at the Airshow, some change is a really good thing! How about flying up the Cat, its been a long time that a Cat has been at the field.

I hope the HAG sees about replacement verse just dropping the aircraft.

UPDATE:

The HAG Airshow site has removed the Fighter Factory Spit and Hurricane from the aircraft list. So far nothing has replaced them (I pray it might be the P-40 and Corsair).
