Ok, I was thinking about this. What songs out there would be synominous with flying?

I can think of a few:

-"Dream Lover", Bobby Darin.
-"You've lost that lovin' feelin'", The Righteous Brothers.
-"Long cool women in a black dress", The Hollies.
-"Give me all your lovin", ZZ Top.

Theme from 633 Squadron. My favorite and a classic! :D

Not really flying related, but another fav is "Burning Bridges" from the movie Kelly's Heroes.

Here is a good quiz for you mustangddrvier or anyone else....the songs that I listed can you tell what flying things they came from?

Sinominous? A little penicillin should clear that right up.

Anyway, here's the ultimate aviation soundtrack. Crank it and pretend you're taxiing an He-111 all the way to God's Country North.

(Be sure to try out some of the samples)

I'll second that!! I've got that CD-- :supz: .

I always thought "Long Way Down" by the Goo Goo Dolls and "The Kids Aren't Allright" by The Offspring were pretty fitting too. Not synonomous with flying, but certainly great dogfighting music.

"Come Fly With me" - Sinatra
"Sky Pilot" - The Animals

As a huge Beatles fan, Im not so sure I agree with "Flying" being synonomous... I dont think during the Magical Mystery Tour Session in '67 that airplanes were the kind of "Flying" the boys had in mind.....
