Ignition harness needed for T-28C

Wed Jun 27, 2007 12:35 pm

Where could one find a Yellow-tagged 1820 harness that’s ready to ship?

I don't think you will find one just sitting around yellow taged. Your best bet is to just find the ring, send it to Savage magneto in Hayward Calif and have them build it up with new wires. You don't want the original wiring in there anyway. They will use a newer type of wire. They can Chrome it and the spark plug elbows. They could probably find thru their sources(engine shops) the parts needed. Mine was perfect in every way.

Thanks for the quick reply, Chuck!

I tried calling them and a few other folks earlier today; so far no luck.

Precision engines in Washington state can overhaul yours, they did a great job on the DC-3 harness I sent them

Thanks for the leads, guys!

It turns out that Joe in Dallas will be able to squeeze one into his schedule at his shop.
