From today's ICAS FastFacts email:

DACY FAMILY NAMED RECIPIENT OF BILL BARBER AWARD

The Dacy Family Air Show Team has been named recipient of the 2007 Bill Barber Award for Showmanship.

For over thirty years, the Dacy family has been involved in almost every aspect of the air show business. For many years, Dave Dacy has performed in both the Super Stearman and the German Bucker biplane. Phil and Julia Dacy are well known and highly respected for their work as air show producers. Susan Dacy flies her own solo performance in "Big Red," another Super Stearman. And Tony Kazian is one of the top wingwalkers in the country.

The award, named in honor of legendary performer Bill Barber, is tentatively scheduled to be presented at the Theater in the Woods on Monday night, July 23rd during EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Dave Dacy is also a top notch A&P with an incredible wealth of knowledge on Stearmans. He takes real good care of mine.
