Is there such a thing? I agree. There are a bunch of different schemes other than darn sharks mouths. 49th fg comes to mind.

very cool photo Jack. I have never seen anything like it, black&white, or color. Could you tell us a little about the markings, and how they came about?

All the best,
Richard

I am a huge fan of the teeth on the P-40, but these are really cool as well.

All the Parrot Hawks laughed at P-40 #5, when he said, "All of you will look like me
someday and Parrot Hawks will only be in faded photos."

Great pic Jack !

If anyone hasen't notices that most of my P-40 models do not show teeth marks. IMHO, and I can't believe I would say this about the P-40 but they come a dime and a dozen when it comes to sharks mouths. The P-40 was much more then just a AVG bird.

Wow, someone here's got a P-40K? I know those markings and in fact have a decal sheet for them. Not my favorite scheme but I am not going to complain. But finally a P-40 in Pacific markings! :D  Too cool and I really like the bird P-40's. I just hope they dont fly over my house dropping poop.
