Have you seen this?

annoyed as I am?

Well I am working on it. I am having the server migrated again to a less congested system. I am also looking at possible renting a dedicated server that will hopefully solve the issue. I'll let you know what happens.

Yes, it's been extremely common over the past few days. :(

Perhaps a reaction by the server to the increasing 'differences of opinion' (or endless circular arguments, depending on your point of view) appearing on here recently?

Heh, I am working at resolving that. Been in the hospital for most of this week so I am behind. People always take advantage when I'm not here :)

Normally I get it just as type on a blank page. The past couple of days it has been as you showed.

The problem seems intermittent though - I had a minor dose of it this morning in the UK when I thought most of you colonials (well West Coast ones anyway) would still be in bed... :D But as Robbie says, giving the F5 key a good thrashing got it sorted. No problems tonight (about 4pm Eastern).

Cheers

I have been getting it more and more over the last two weeks. Doesn't matter if it's 4 am or 10 pm. The last two or three days have been really bad though.

I agree with Warhawk. Over the last two weeks or so I've been getting the message more and more.

thanks for the feedback. The cause is when too many people hit the server. We are on a shared server that seems to get a lot of traffic. We are being migrated to a smaller traffic server which should minimize the problem temporarily. Looking into a permanent solution.

Scott,

Not sure if this means anything but I have experienced similar problems recently with another website I visit which is also phpBB. The incidents have not been as frequent as here but I visit here more often so it's relative.

I have had the same, and similar messages displayed for the last two or three days recently, and sometimes in the past, too.

Thank you for keeping the boards going.

Saludos,

Tulio

Yup...I usually come across it at least once a day when I'm surfing the site. :? I just figured it was Scott's way of slowly weening us "addicts" off of a steady diet of warbird info.

Now would I do that? I might install a password lock out that you would need to pay me to open..... JUST KIDDING!!!!!

anywho, the migration is complete and we should have a significant reduction in the errors. If you still run into it happening more than occasionally the post it in this thread.
