Up until sometime in 2006, there was an F-86 on static display at this recreation center. It is now no longer there, and the folks at the DC Parks and Recreation Department (DCPRD) profess no knowledge of it's whereabouts or how it was "disposed of" ( their words).

Anyone here have any ideas where it might have gone? Would it have been on loan to the DCPRD from the NMUSAF?

Hope someone can shed some light on this mysterious disappearance.

Walt
