Hi,
Made my first visit to the LLA (BBMF) Members day at Coningsby on Sunday and have just updated my Webshots account.

For some reason, the pictures seem to be mainly of a Lancaster ( :) ) but there were some smaller aircraft there as well...

The event was thoroughly enjoyable and was topped of by spending time talking to a 115 Squadron veteran (and his wife), who had flown 15 ops' as a Wireless Operator, over Germany in 1944-45 and was a true gentleman.

For anybody interested, the full set plus the 617 Squadron War Memorial at Woodhall Spa, can be viewed at the link shown below.

I hope that you enjoy them!

Hi Tony,

Thanks for sharing your great pics with us!

Do you have any more pictures of the tail turret other than what you posted to webshots?

Hi Mike,
Sorry, that's all I have, is there something particular that you are looking for?

Tony

Hi Tony,

I'm looking for rear turret pictures just to use as reference on my restoration project.

Regards,

Mike,
Sorry I couldn't help this time but when I next visit Duxford and/or East Kirkby, I'll try and get some close up external detail images for you.

Alternatively, there is a PC CD-ROM published by 'Flyingzone Publications' (http://www.flyingzonedirect.com) called The Lancaster Explored and covers the Lanc in some detail.

Cost me £20.00 but does provide a large collection of images from the various stations throughout and could be worth a look.

HTH, Tony

...C-GVRA just went by. Couldn't see her for houses and trees...but oh, that sound! Heard her twice more earlier this morning. May see her yet...
