Sorry if this has been posted here before but it looks like the Fighter Factory is now open to the public.

The airport and facilities are really somehting and must be seen. From what I have heard the collection has been open for a while and the sign on the door says 9-430 7 days a week. I was over there 2 weeks ago but didn't get there in time. Rumor has it that they might also be building an IMAX.
IMHO this collection has always been pretty accessible. When eveything was at SFQ they were more then welcoming to anyone passing by to stick their head in. By chance I stopped at SFQ for fuel about 6yrs ago coming back from Sun n' Fun and was surprised to see several of the warbirds on the ramp as we entered the pattern. Everyone let me poke around and check things out.
I wen over to the new airport last summer as they were getting ready to send a few of the birds to shows for the weekend. Again everyone was great and let me walk around the hangars and ask questions. If you are in SE VA this is a must see!
