Well, on the Wings Over Pittsburgh website, it show that there is going to be a Navy Legacy flight and a Heritage Flight. The Heritage Flight is with an A-10 and F-86. Since the F-18 demo team is there I assumed it would be flying with some sort of WWII Navy plane. When I emailed and asked which one it was going to be, this is the response:

1. I believe the Navy Legacy Flight will consist of the F-86 & A-10.

Also, when I asked about the B-24 and B-25 attending, this is the response:

3. I'm not that familiar with these air frames. If you go to http://www.wingsoverpittsburgh.com/ under the static displays, place the cursor over each display listed, click and it should take you to a photo.

hmmmmmm... :?

Wow, this is going to be one heck of a show. They managed to get the B-25 over from Europe and convinced the Collings foundation to strip off the Witchcraft paint.

Their "Stagger Wing" is, well . . . staggering! Check the photo!

B-25 looks to me, like the Duke of Brabant's AF B-25.

Saludos,

Tulio

I have seen this before from military shows when it comes to warbirds. They give a kid a list and ask them to find photos for the webpage. You see the results when their efforts are not QA'ed. I don't know a warbird operator/owner that does not have a picture or two of their plane. The webmaster folks just get to lazy to ask the right people.

I assume the "CM17" is a CM170 Fouga Magister
