P-40N formerly under rebuild with Tom Reilly... status???

I was just wondering who now owns the P-40N which was substantially rebuilt at Tom Reilly's place by the time of the hurricane which closed down his shop in Kissimmee. What has happened to the aircraft, and who owns it now? Are there any pictures?

Don Brooks owns it and it is in Douglas GA being worked one. The fuse is a Ken Hake build and the wings are from Russia. It is supposed to fly when it is restored.
The hurricane didnt close Flying Tigers museum. It was for sale long before Aug 2004 when the hurricane hit it. The damage just made it too costly to reopen until the facility sold.

Don Brooks has owned it since before it went to Reillys for the "rebuild". We're currently finishing up the landing gear doors, then it's gonna be time to flip the wing over and put the fuselage back on it. I'll post pictures when that occurs.

BTW, it's an E model.

I thought there were two P-40s...at least...at Flying Tigers. The Brooks P-40E and Roger Simpson's P-40N project. The P-40N seems to have dropped off the map since Mr. Simpson died.

I have long wondered what happened to Mr. Simpson's P-40 that I saw at Mr. Reilly's facility a few years ago too. Do you know what the serial number on Mr. Simpson's P-40 was Jim?

Whilst we are on the subject of the late lamented Flying tigers museum. The last time I visited it was the week befor the hurricane struck it ( ) There was a VERY battered P-38 center section there. What happened to that?

All of the P-38 parts and airframes went to a collector with intent to rebuild them. He had aquired at least one other P-38 too.

I think it was s/n 43-23007. I believe it was a Russian recovery.
