Martin Mars cockpit section - excellent museum display item?

I was cruising the vintage section of WIX and came across a recent thread that I thought would be of interest here:

Which itself has links to some pics on Flicker, of a complete Mars Flying Boat Cockpit/nose section?

I assume this is stored at the base of the two flying MARS aircraft, a great relic for Pensacola? etc?
