Local fly-in breakfast pics

Just got back from spending the morning at the Bradford County fly-in Breakfast. Lots of planes interesting planes came in and even a few vintage and some I have no idea what they are. It was a nice day and lots of people were taking rides up for only $5-20 bucks! Lots of kids going up which was nice to see. Everyone of them came back with a smile. At one point planes were coming in by the handfull and taking off as well. It was very fun to watch. The plane I fly even went up a few times to give people rides.

N4457P is a Piper PA-23 Apache. The Blue and white one might be a Zodiac, I think. N6312V is a Vans RV-6 (red with squared off tail). N99916, with the twin tail is an Ercoupe. Can you believe that tiny little Ercoupe was the first airplane type used for testing Jato rockets?!

Blue and white one is a Grumman Tiger or Cheetah. the red job looks very familiar but I can't bring to mind the type. It is a home built though. Looks like a great day.

The red taildragger is an RV-6. The red nosedragger is a GP-4. The GP-4 is a high performance bird, flying behind 250 or more hp. And it is built from wood...

Some of you might be wondering why I was so excited to see a few private aircraft flying around. Well, Bradford County airport is not no major civil airport and is located in a rural part of Pa. Seeing that many planes around in such a small town airport was petty cool!

That hotrod lookin' red trike is what I believe to be a FALCO. They are all wood and very stinkin' fast. It's a homebuilt, so if you've got a lot of time and glue, it could be the project for you! haha

Nope, as stated by Kyleb it is a GP-4, the GP standing for George Pereira, better known as the designer of the Osprey Amphibian.

Ahh, Bradord County, Towanda, right? Very lovely little airport. Kinda narrow, not incredibly smooth. Right along the Susquehanna River. I recall a nice little restaurant just within walking distance - the Pepper Mill or something? I remember anice view on takeoff, climbing out over the river valley.

Hi Bret,

How long ago was this? A few years ago the airport got bigger. New longer and wider runway, new hangers, and new taxi ways. The restaurant(The Pepper Shaker) has been closed for several years now.
