P-47 Sold

Tue Jun 05, 2007 1:46 pm

I was looking at the Provenance Fighter sales website and saw that the former Tillamook P-47 has been sold.

Anyone know where its headed? I have one guess and i hope its right! :D

Tennessee Museum of Aviation! Imagine 3 Thunderbolts in the same markings, flying in formation!

Any thoughts, comments, ideas?

That would be fantastic. However, I kinda doubt it. The last time I was there one of the ramp rats told me Neil Melton was taking delivery on a restored A1-H Skyraider in the next year or so. I don't think they'd have the budget for both, but one can hope.
