Has anyone seen the entire collection of the Roaring Glory DVD collection? There is a complete set on ebay right now. The seller is pretty close to where I live, so I would most likely be able to go and pick it up which solves my fear of ebay. The link to the item is:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Roaring-Glory-Warbi ... dZViewItem
The complete set is available from the production company for $180. Is it worth getting all 10 videos, or are there certain ones that are better than others? Does anyone have the collection, and what do you think of them?

I like the whole series, but I'm parcial to the B-25 & B-17 Videos, since I play the bombadier in the B-17 video and the pilot in the B-25 video!
Jeff Ethell was also a friend of mine, so I like his part of the series the best.
My two cents!
Jerry

I have the B-17, TBM and F6F videos and all three are excellent. Well worth your money.

Thanks guys. I think I will pick up a few of the videos even if I don't get all 10 at once.

I've had the VHS's since they came out and have loved them... especially the P-40 since it was Dr. Bill Andersons plane (I grew up with it).

Well worth the original price... and this is a steal.

I was at Tillamook for the filming of the P-38 edition.
The first half of flying is good but the second half is a silly joke.
We were snickering so bad watching the briefing that we were asked
take a walk (or a hike while they filmed).
I just look at it now and say Jeff ya got no business in the a/c and your gonna die. :(

The P-40 video is primo... but then I'm highly biased towards the type and even more so towards Doc's Hawk...
