This is my favorite photo of an L-5 for some reason. It has character :)
Stinson L-5 Sentinel 42-98653 I believe the nose art is "Eager Beaver Buggy" the struts are blocking some of it.

me109, thanks for the pics. Note the long wire antenna on the first pic. The tiny wind sock on the vert. fin gives it away. That radio had to weigh a lot.

Actually the radios were quite small (about an 9" cube) and were located in the wing root area. Certainly heavier than a KX-155 though.
