The Idaho section of the Locator is now available! You can find it at…

I would like to claim I did all the hard work on this one, but the credit really goes to Scott Pinkerton. I handed him all the raw data, he gave it back to me with most of the blanks filled it. Thanks Scott!

Nothing is ever perfect, and there are some questions remaining, although not many. The list is below. Please let me know if you have any information to share.

Regards,

Mike

This is the “Need Help” list
#1: Does the Boise Idaho Military History Museum have a UH-1 and F-102 in the collection?

#2: At the Boise Gowen Field Air Terminal Airport the following types are displayed: T-33, F-102, 2x F-4, C-130 and UH-1. There may also be a F-16 and a second F-102 displayed on the base. If so where exactly are they?

#3: At Mountain Home AFB near Boise the following types are displayed: B-1, F-111, F-4, F-84, F-100, F-111, F-16, F-15 and F-4. There may be a second F-15 displayed. If so exactly where is it?

#4: Pacific Fighters in Idaho Falls may be restoring an F-86 that was once displayed at the airport. Can you confirm? If so will it be returned to the airport for display?

#5: The Idaho Motor Pool near Fruitland has an OH-58 on display. I can’t see it on the property using Google Earth. Where exactly is it?

#6: There may be a F-100 displayed in Saint Maries. Can you confirm? If so exactly where is it?

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.
