I work for Qwest phone services...talk to all kinds of folks all over the west....got a call today from one Doyle Boyington in Washington state...asked him if he was related to you know who...yep, turns out he was....a distant relation, but nonetheless...seems Doyle worked in the air force on C-124's...told him my grandfather painted a portrait of Greg in WWII and that I'd met Greg when I was 12 at an airshow here in CO...he seemed to like that...he never met Greg himself but always liked the stories and the TV series about the squadron...

Small world...

Mark
