Congrats!!! That is good news.

I hear he has a pretty good group of instructors.

It's nice to see a young person with a genuine interest in these airplanes. I know so many people with warbirds and/or vintage airplanes, and their kids have no interest in aviation.

Good for both Steves.

Are you kidding??

I'm jealous! I'm 19! I love these airplanes!

And I don't have a pilot's license!

Thirty five years ago I remember talking to a very young man at a Canadian airshow. His job was to ferry Bob Hoover's yellow P-51 around the venues.

A name very similar to the above as I recall.

Congrats indeed! :D 19 seems very young, & I guess it is by todays standards, but during WWII my Dad was considered an old man in his 51 outfit, he was 26. I enjoy hearing positive news of great accomplishments. I'm sure all involved are proud of him. :supz:

Congrats to the new P-51 pilot :D

Interesting photo...that is Leroy Penhall's Mustang that Hoover borrowed after his first Cavalier Mustang, 2251D, was damaged in the famous O2 bottle overpressurization incident in 1970.

Steve's little boy can't be 19. That would make Vlado, Peter, Me, and the rest fo us old and that can't be true.
