Here at the CAF Keystone Wing hangar, we have an APU that we do not know anything about. We would love to know what type of aircraft used a Lawerence APU Model 20. It has a S/N 422088 It says USAAC Type O-2
Propery of the USAAF. We also have a mag form Wico Elec. Co.
Type:SF2LWI
DWG:S8149
Serial Number 001228
And last but not least is a Generator from Jack and Heinz Inc.
24V system
Type R-1
Thanks in advance.

I think you are reading the tags wrong. It is probably a Lawrance model 2D, and Army Air Forces model D-2, which is also known as the Andover Auxiliary Power Unit. I don't have one handy, but I believe the 2D used the Wico magneto- the one you have is for a 2 cylinder engine.

I guess I should have posted this in the parts section. No one is sure how our wing came to own these, and we are not even sure what they go to. Our Wing only has two L birds, so I don't think they would be for our a/c!
