This Sabre and MiG-17UTI (or clone) were being worked on side-by-side at Aero Trader on Dec. 14, 1989. Anyone have a clue as to their identity?

I only know of three dual-control MiG-17's that have ever flown in the US. One with James McKean in Mabank, Texas, another with Peter Franks in Angelfire, New Mexico, and the third with "Red Star Airshows" in Colorado.

There's another with Evergreen Aviation Museum, but I can't say whether it ever actually flew or not.

I remember seeing a two-seat MiG fly at Evergreen's airshow in 1993. Don't know if it was a 15 or 17 though.

Anyone know of any complete but unrestored F-86 project for sale anywhere? I remember there were a few disassembled Canadair examples lined up at Ocotillo Wells at one point.
