The Michigan Locator is now populated. You can find it via…
http://www.aerialvisuals.ca/Locator.php?Region=MI

As usual there are a number of items for which I could use some assistance. I you live in Michigan or are/have been passing through, please take a look to see if you can help fill in the blanks.

Reviews of Ohio, Pennsylvannia, New York and the eastern seaboard are next.

Regards,

Mike

This is the “Need Help” list...

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

I live in Battle Creek, and will see what I can find out. At one time there was an RB-57 on a pedastal outside our Air Guard base, but it was removed in the early '90s and relocated to the Yankee Air Museum.

I haven't heard about a museum in Charlotte..I'll check into it. They just have a little single-strip GA airport, although they're talking about extending the runway to handle bizjets.

According to thier website, the Michigan Historical Center is here:

702 W. Kalamazoo Street
Lansing MI 48915
(517) 373-3559
TDD (517) 373-1592

The museum and State Library share the same building..I just visited a couple of months ago.

I got the same address of trhe website, but Google provides a pointer in the street. I don't know which building the library is. I have never been there. Do you know which building is the library? This might sound like overkill, but I prefer to remain consistently specific.

I can see the building on the aerial veiw, but niether Google nor Mapquest will allow me to save the image. The Library is the building on the north side of the circular driveway. The library is in the west half, and historical center museum takes up the east half.

I'm at my girlfreind's place right now. When I get home, I'll try to print and scan the image, then post the pic.

Thanks Steve, but no need. I can see which building you are referring to.

BTW... You can also do a screen capture to get an image. Put the window with the image in focus. Press ALT-Print_Screen (this copies an image of that window to the clipboard). Go into your favorite image editting program and paste. Save and attach or post.

Thanks to all that have contributed. Most people are using the contribution form now to chip in their info. Posting on WIX, or using the former, either method is welcome.

The “Need Help” list doesn’t currently match the Locator, but it will after tonight’s upload.

Regards,

Mike
