Canopy seems jammed a bit far forward - just barely cracked, you think the pilot had to smash his way out (thus the glass damage?)?

Currently under restoration to stock airworthy condition for Paul Allen's Flying Heritage Collection. I imagine the end result will be a vision of perfection. 
I'm still amazed at the condition that it was found in. Makes you wonder what other treasures may still lie in wait among the outlands of the Russian countryside.
