Looks like the guys from the Gulf Coast Wing have been busy, installing the horizontals.

I can't wait to see her in the air again. She is a great looking bird.

It wil be good to see them back in the air. Will "Texas Raiders" be able to
call this current hanger "home" once they begin flying again?

Does anyone know if it is going to keep the same paint scheme and nose art? I hope it does.

yep, TR is finally going back together.....I can answer a couple of questions for Tom and Mustang Driver..... Yes the current hanger will be her new home...... Craig Aronson is now a member of the CAF (saw his name on the new member list), the old girl has a new home at his hanger at Hobby Field in Houston. A great location, 'cause you don't need a security badge to get to/inside the hanger to work on her..... Also will be good for visitors once the PX shop is up and running..... Raiders is supposed to get a strip and repaint..... I know the name and artwork will stay pretty much the same... not sure on the OD and gray as they have had several versions over the years..... I kind of like the paint as is...nice and worn.

Thanks for the update Alan ! I am looking forward to a time when you guys can start offering rides ~ later this year ?

To pick up the theme of another thread, this is a B-17 I want to add to my "tushy list" in 2007 :D

Thanks Alan for the information. I'm glad she finally has a roof over her head. I too like the worn paint, look's more realistic as long as you able to control corrosion. Unfortunately, I guess, the average air show spectator thinks B-17s and others should always look factory fresh.
All the best, Tom
