Not visiting Moffett this year, I see (where I took some shots of it last year), but it's coming to Buchanan Field on May 1-2, all of 3 miles from me. :D

I'm visiting there again in 2 weeks, for a presentation on the recent investigations of the wreck of the USS Macon.

I'll be interested to hear if there have been any recent developments concerning the future of Moffett's 'Hangar One'.

The closest ones we have here are the Akron Air Dock. They are really impressive. I love to fly over to that field, because way off on the horizon you can see this huge hangar sticking up.
