B29Gunner: Unknown Warbirds-It's time for another clue

Fri Dec 29, 2006 10:49 pm

Sorry to put you on the spot but after nearly 600 sleepless nights of playing with our imaginations regarding the post below, it's time for another clue---How about a general category? Is it a fighter? A trainer? An observation plane? A pre-war type? A prototype? A combat veteran? A rare foreign built type? An otherwise extinct survivor?
Come on, we need something here to give us hope for the new year!

You guys are right, there certainly are a number of birds out in the abyss we simply don’t know about. A friend of mine actually has one of these birds disassembled, safely tucked away. It’s something that no one here knows about! I wish I could tell you guys about it, but I gave my word that I would keep it quiet. But let me just say that one of these days when this thing finally goes public, you guys will LITERALLY $@&# a brick when you see this thing. There is really nothing else like it out there!

Good God man! Tell me you haven't been counting the nights...

I haven't talked to that person in quite some time now, but last I heard the mystery ship was still safely tucked away
