With original P-40 oil coolers and radiators becoming rarer by the month, has anyone looked into whether oil coolers from any other type (DC-3, DC-4) etc may be substituted in place of the original P-40 units. I'm aware new ones are being manufactured in NZ, but are there any alternatives?
This just comes from a conversation with a friend who's after a set.
