I suspect those photos are several years old now.

A nice museum, I visited it in 2005.

Did they ever get their Connie fixed after the engine failure in 2005? I believe that are now no currently airworthy Connies in the US. :(

The DC-3 and the Connie were out for the Air show here in KC in Aug. The DC-3 is close to ready but Cash is needed to get the eng. and props redone. The Connie has her replacement Eng. on and run but I was told not enough show season left to overcome the cost of pilot checks and Insuance for the year. Thay say thay will be back in 2008.

Beautiful plane but a little sad as well - it's the sister ship to c/n 3295, NC1946, in which Carole Lombard was killed in 1942.
