This will most likely end up being the kiss of death for the planned big museum here in the DFW area. I think this will end up blowing the museum group and most of the other backers apart. There has been a tremendous amount of angst, anger, infighting and backstabbing trying to get this operation going. I was at one time, a very active participant in trying to get things going and to help meld the old Southwest Aerospace Museum group and the others involved into a single, cohesive and productive organization. Once all the legal nicities had been completed, almost all of us old SAM people were pushed out of the way and pretty well shunted out of the organization. Because of this, I no longer support or attend the Alliance Air Show, except as a paid aircraft support for our company display. I feel pretty sure that within the next few months, you will start to see the B-36 and other aircraft in storage for this museum will begin to be dispersed to other museum and that the Alliance Air Show will begin to implode. It's unfortunate as Lockheed and thousands of her employees and retirees have dontated so much to try and make this museum happen along with all the others in the area.
