I heard then saw a B-29 fly over my house 30 minutes ago in Wichita? Did I see right? I know that can't be Doc.

Ooops, I'm mistaken. It's B-17 Liberty Belle flying out of Jabarra Airport about 2 miles away this weekend. I cought such a short glimpse of it I mistook it for a B-29. I saw windowed nose and 4 engines.

Don't see 'em, but I do hear 'em: "Mig-Cap" over Obama's Chicago TFR.

Eerie, over the city......no aircraft what-so-ever.......no gen-av, no life-flight, very little airline. Aviation here is suppressed.

(Same sounds as the few weeks after 9-11. The fighter cover back then was 24/7; could see 'em also at night with tankers & AWACs)

These four T-38C Talons were sitting on the tarmac at McGhee-Tyson Airport (KTYS) Alcoa, TN (near Knoxville) Saturday and Sunday. The planes are from the 87th Flying Training Squadron, "Red Bulls", Laughlin AFB, TX. I guessed they might be in for a local Memorial Day flyover, but could find no info of such. The photo was taken by my friends point and shoot, outside the fence, late in the day Sunday.

Two V-22's flying up and down the Hudson and around the harbor early Saturday morning. They were about as loud as six Huey's.., I could hear them about as far off as a Huey.., they were just a spot on the horizon and they sound like they were overhead.., GOLLY.., what a loud machine.., now their engines were at about a 60 degree angle up. Just slowly flying down the hudson.., over NYC. Are they louder in this engine up attitude..,or are they just a loud bird.., period!

Thanks!

Finally got the shots up!
