The Northern Illinois Aircraft Museum, Inc. appears to be more of just a legal entity to possess aircraft than a formal museum with a physical location. It was run by Chad Nobert Koppie and included the both R4D-5, BuNo 39095, and C-52B, 41-7707.[1]

Similarly, Jeff Thomas's Vintage Wings collection at one point operated under the name Great Planes Museum.[2]

Lastly, in another case of a museum that was more of a personal collection was the M.W. Hamilton Machine Museum located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. It counted among its aircraft two C-53Ds, N134D and N4003; a Stearman Kaydet; a Grumman Cougar; B-25, 44-86844; a HUP-1 and a Valiant.[1]
