Well that's an odd one - looks like it has a passenger door and a double cargo door?

Odd that they rolled out with #4 feathered?

Is it feathered, or in beta?

Very cool video. Shame the video of the Texas landing never materialized.

They might have stalled it putting it into reverse. If you are slow in reversing, they can easily do it.

Remember, passenger to cargo mods were really common on DC-6s...and done by a variety of outfits ranging from the factory and big-name shops to airlines themselves all over the world.
If someone has a c/n we could see that it started out life as a B...then converted to cargo.

There is till fighting going on in the peanut gallery seats at Zuehl fly in community.
There's always a child and his little compatriots who want to ruin aviation even though they are in it.
And there's always the ones that if a big noisy airplane (that sounds like music compared to their ear piercing little toy rotax engines) they act like those patriot sounding radials are going to be flying in day and night. Don't they understand that this aircraft is a real military aircraft that helped fight for their way of life? It is actually a C-118 . But the real problem is their jealousy caused by their inferiority complexes unconsciously making them think they couldn't or wouldn't be allowed to be involved if they just crossed the street to say hi.

Jim is a rare breed who to his detriment a just a good warm hearted aviation loving person who just wants to enjoy flying.

They're still fighting. The community, when they knew they were not going to win their sanctions took down the fence prior to the next segment in litigation so they could try and say the land owner, and Jim, did not win anything, or prevail in litigation, because, there was nothing to prevail over, because the fence was already down, (again, after multiple times up and down) so they could try and say they didn't have to pay any lawyers fees for the opposing lawyer, because they already had removed the fence. That was quashed. They're more childish than I am. They're till in litigation about fees.

I got this all just by googling and reading the judge findings on the case using words like Zuehl airport , and Macivor , and the words airport community.

Ridiculous!!! What DIP5HITS

Meanwhile I'm sure Jim is still out there flying somewhere. Lost track of communication.
