Yesterday at 2:02 had B17 roar right over my house headed for Ellington - I think it was Texas Raiders

Yeah, I saw some old bomber flying over Clear Lake too, took it for granted it was T-Bird. Then I woke up, thought twice, and made a dash for the binocs .... and sure enough, it was TR. DANG, it used to be so easy ..... now you gotta really pay attention to see *which* B-17 it is. How inconvenient!

A well-known SoCal-based Beech Staggerwing with the beastly R-985 engine (i.e., Frankenplane)!

He brought it to Graham and I put it in the hanger. That is one awesome Mustang restoration. Love watching David and Bruce fly it. Also like watching Bruce give Lee (my 6 year old) a hard time when Lee tells him how patiently he has been waiting for him to get here.

You did a good job Steve, no leak when it got here.

He is asleep in the backseat of the Chipmunk after three great days at the Reklaw fly-in. He met more people than I did.

This afternoon I saw a C-47/DC-3 flying southeast over Tempe, too far away to make out any details other than its beautiful silhouette. I'm wondering if it didn't take off from Sky Harbor.

Can't really call it a true Warbird, but my buddy took these pics while we flew to breakfast in Rochester (RCR) this morning in a 172. Anybody flying around Northern Indiana, stop by Rochester and get some grub at the American Legion, it's great!

Cool Photos!
BTW, the originator of the thread (I guess he gets to make the rules for it

) said any airplanes, not just warbirds.
