This just popped into my head while reading comments about rare aircraft it would be nice to see - Are there any Fairey Swordfish's still flying ?
Last I saw one of those, must have been 10/15 years ago in Windsor. Always liked that plane, kind of a transition aircraft from WW1 era to WW2. Thing is deceptively large and powerful for a single engine bi wing prop, and of course her finest hour and by far biggest claim to fame was crippling the Bismark with a miracle hail Mary bomb run.
Can't imagine there are many of those left, flying or not.
edit: According to wiki, there are 12 known examples of this aircraft left.
1 flying example in North America out of Quebec [I'm guessing that is the one I saw years back]

It has been down for a few years now pending engine work. There are not a lot of people in the world who are willing to touch that engine.
