Noticed that the director of the recovery mention that they were not going to separate the wings. Wouldn't it be easier for transportation purpouses to disassemble the outerwing panels at the production breaks? That one big frigg'n piece to try and transport.

Unfortunately the intro page only shows around 30 images. As new stuff is added the older stuff gets bumped back.

Go down and click on 'More From Archive'. When the next page pops up, scroll down to the search box. There should already be a search term in the box (alt.binaries.pictures.aviation), click on 'Start Searching'. When the page comes up scroll down until you come across the B-25 stuff. As of this posting, they're still on the first page, about 2/3 of the way down.

Hi All,

personal constraints have kinda kept me rather busy. But WOW !! This girl looks like she came up in really decent shape. Flyable again ? Sounds like a plan to me

. Now a quick question...abit off topic, but I thought AeroTrader had a B-25C model as well. And that one was up for sale. If memory serves me correctly, this particular one that AeroTrader has once belonged to Howard Hughes....any word on that one as well..? Nice to have another "surviving "C" Model around.

Any thoughts ??

Anyone here have any contacts at the Southern Museum of Flight down Alabama. Maybe talk with them and find out the grand scheme for the B-25. And if there are any WIXer's nearby that go and get some photos as she arrives and gets off loaded.

Been talking to the Director for several days, they will access the more than expected damage to the wreck once it is at the Museum and decide to what degree they can restore it..it will of course depend on fundraising...story in the upcoming Classic Wings.

According to the lake cam, the mitchell is gone. That didn't take long to dismantle her.

Anyone know where she is going for restoration?
