This actually is a Canso (ex-RCAF 9285), formerly at Harold Carlaw's Memorial Military Museum. RCAF Catalinas were pure flying boats and the Canso was the amphibian. The gear wells are visible above/behind the dollies.

From what I've heard they plan to use the nose turret and fairing on their own C-FPQL and perhaps at some point down the road use the hull's structural frames to replace in 'PQL if they ever take the water bomber tanks out (they're still in there)

:supz: i would like to thank the person's who posted the picture's of the museum and aircraft, too bad we in the WILLOW RUN AIRPORT, will never see this type of museum, WILLOW RUN AIRPORT is home of FORD BUILT B-24, i was told by a old member of a MUSEUM, that a B-24 was offer to the MUSEUM but was turn down,
:drink3: i beleive it was DAVID TALLICHET offer this B-24 i may be worry !

this happen in the late 80's DAVID TALLICHET had played this flyable B-24 on the RAMP, in front of museums HANGER,it was turned down by the almight one, this happen before having the B-17, this person i will see again, will ask witch B-24 was offer, name of the B-24, he was a witness to this, at this time the MUSEUM was looking for a B-24 BUILT AT THE FORD PLANT, put i have heard the some stories many times from the older members who was founder's, all the MUSEUM has now is a parts of a B-24 & PVY-4, which was cut up with a chair saw, from out WEST,
