Wow! FIVE (5) Corsairs in the lineup so far. Sounds like a Corsair Gathering for the Centennial of Naval Aviation!

:D

Get one more and I think it will tie for the largest gathering in recent years. No one has topped the 6 in Indy in 2002 have they?

Depends what you mean by "recent". I recall the 13 or 14 at OSH '94. That makes me old, doesn't it.

Jim,

We are just getting a few -1 Corsair's together this year to dogfight with the two Zero's, during our WWII Air & Ground Battle Reenactment.

A large Corsair gathering will be coming during a future year.

Wow! Six FG-1Ds?! This is going to be so sweet. Can't wait to see "Kathleen" especially after the great Warbird Digest article.

Hey guys,
Me being the frugal shopper that I am, I was going to buy tix for the show while they are discounted.
I also wanted to buy parking passes all in one shot, but the tix website wont let me.

K.L.

BTW, I figured I would rant a little bit whil I am thinking about it.
I can understand the idea of a service fee for tickets, and I dont like it.
I like it even less when I dont get a ticket stub, I have to use my own paper and ink.
I have collected ticket stubs all my life, I have one from my first Baseball game, Cooperstown, 1984.
With Click and print, you are charged a service fee to print your own tickets, and its a full page with ads.

Rant over!

Got the cash I need for my photo-tour and pits! Happy Day! I can't wait to see what is added and I can't wait for the show. It should be a great weekend.

I'm not sure, 'cause we always just get the wrist band for photo tour/pit, but do general admission folks even get a ticket stub?

Mudge the tourer

I have several thousand pictures so I can remember each second of the show so a ticket stub seems a big over kill in my mind. :D

All,

The following warbirds will be preforming individual aerobatic demonstrations this year,

The Fighter Hangar 1's A6M2 Zero.
The Commemorative Air Force's FG-1D Corsair.
The Warbird Heritage Foundation's A-4 Skyhawk.

Thank you for bringing the Parking Ticket issue to our attention.
I have been told by the ticketing company that the issue has been resolved.
Please feel free to contact me directly if you encounter any further problems.

Kevin
