Yep, sure looks like he's trying to acquire nothing but full-scale replicas. Cool move.

One of his latest additions on display...Messerschmitt 108 in the Cottbus (German Luftwaffe) Hangar:

(A couple more have been added to the WWI Hangar, but I don't have shots of them yet.)

I dont think I have seen the Texas Aircraft Factory Ki-43 Oscars mentioned on this thread at at all. Didn't Jerry have two of them, and one for sale?

I've heard he at least has two. I didn't know he was planning on selling one. But then again that would make sense since he doesn't seem to keep more than one example of something. Maybe the Fw-190 being an exception.

Would be cool to see that second Ki-43 go to the Texas Flying Legends Museum. An "authentic" Zero and Oscar touring the country?! Sign me up.

Liz, as far as the 108, hasn't this airplane been listed on the site for some time now? Was it in storage at the Suffolk, VA location?

I believe they've had it awhile. Last time I saw the -108, it was in the restoration hangar. It was moved to the German hangar a couple weeks ago for display.

Yeah, it was there a while. I got shots of it in 2009 in their Suffolk storage hangar. It was tucked under the A-26 with its wings removed.

Yes, it is. It's in the WWI Hangar.

If anyone here can provide additions or corrections please let me know. I will try to update it as airframes change hands.

pop1 I gotta say that is a fantastic photo of the I-16 with skis in our AREA 51. Interesting to see how many cameras go where they do not belong.
