This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

And besides, no one reads what they're responding to, so normally it never gets noticed.

Now I'm thinking they should fire the TSA agent for NOT Tazoring the dude!
:axe:

Strange how many twists and turns this post has taken.

Oh 'fer cryin' out loud y'all...

...what TSA...

For those who PAID ATTENTION the story was answered pages ago...mostly from the story by the guy who did it's own paper...and the guy himself...

And then by FG1D Pilot

Hmmmm... Who should we trust more for an accurate story, the news media or Doug?

I wonder how some folks like that guy make it through life without an arse kicking? When I biked to the local airport at fourteen years old I knew better than to cross the runway.

WHen I was an ATC student at Beaver County AIrport we had a couple get lost drive down taxi way Charlie, and out to the run up area, and knock on the window of a 172 doing a mag check to see if he could get directions to the mall!!!!

OK, I just have to laugh now... instead of the filter trying to cut out a "derogatory" word - it now inserts the French into a story about a real FR0G!!! LOL!!! Oh, and I had to use the zero (0) key to make that work!

Now that is funny!!!!! I get it now. Still a bizarre repsonse even with toad inserted. For a moment I thought maybe there was a new landing at Roswell.

I just wonder... What would happen if we constructed a sentence:

The Japanese were trying to fork a french.

Didn't come out the same- and this is the third revision: lots of stuff that dumb-ss filter misses!

As to the original subject, if the photog intentionally busted a runway without proper clearance, he did not fully get what he deserved! Had he caused an incident(other than the one he did) GA or Warbirds would have been, once again, tarred as the problem...

Warbirds were clearly the problem ! If that Ol' 927 hadn't been out there, there would have been no photographer ! Ergo, no problem ! Then what would we have bashed about for 6 pages ? :x

Let me see if I get this right. This is a thread about a stupid person committing a stupid act that that has been misreported by a stupid person that didn’t check facts before starting a stupid thread that has been commented on by way too many stupid people that are either too lazy or too stupid to read the fact that others that aren’t that stupid have posted for the stupid to read there by confirming my long held belief that most people are stupid and the rest are worse.

Signed,

Stupid

So it WAS Gary's fault!

Fri Jun 26, 2009 11:53 am

As long as it wasn't my fault ! I get accused of enough stuff, already ! :D

Only kidding.

Wasn’t it that great philosopher, Forrest Gump that once said, “stupid is as stupid does.”

I believe there was a quote about an unholstered firearm? First comment, is, isn't that a bit extreme? For goodness sakes, a trained LEO should be able to look at the situation and make a judgement call...and now the question, when Barney drew his weapon, did Andy let him put the bullet in?
