If all goes according to plan, I'll be there all week with a certain C-Model Mustang...

I'm hoping very much for that, Brian! I'm planning to be there, likely Friday-Sunday, and I can't wait to see a number of aircraft this year that I have yet gotten the chance to if all goes to plan - the Lizzie, the DH.88 Comet, a Hurricane, Hellcat, etc. However, the Redtail P-51C is still my main motivation for going. Brian, or John Beyl, any possible chance as to posting an update or two as to the status of the C-model? It has been a while since the last update, and I've been curious lately as to how she is coming along. ;)

Taylor, I'm really looking forward to seeing your L-5, my all-time favorite of the L-birds.

I just heard the unfortunate news that the Russell ME-109 will not be able to attend this year due to the wing damage sustained back in June. They tried to get it repaired in time, but it's just not going to make it.

Just got word, the P-40 is on it's way as well. I'm assuming these aircraft are all from Vintage Wings of Canada.

Hello Al Sauer,
Congrats on your Honorable Mention in this year's EAA Warbirds photo contest "People" category - page 33 current issue (arrived in mail today).
Surprised you did not win anything in other categories, based on the fine pics you post here.
John

Thanks. The other shots are pretty great though. We'll try again next year though.

Yep! That was Rhonda. I usually don't shoot with people in the picture but for some reason did this time. Your pics are great. I'll get you one of these years.

See ya in Oshkosh
