I remember watching it when it first aired and I'm still sad about the ending.

It was on PBS last night. I wasn’t going to watch it but did. I got all sick to my stomach and seething all over again. I remember when it first aired, many of my friends were VERY ticked at me the next day because I didn’t warn them of how it was going to turn out.TAdan wrote:Glad to see the story will be airing again but I do not think I have the heart to watch it.

From the aerovintage B-25 pages: "And then there is TB-25J 44-29035 on display as a PB-1J at the U.S. Naval Aviation Museum at Pensecola, Florida. This airplane came to the Navy in the early 1990s as a sideways Tallichet trade, last carrying the civil registration of N61821. It was slightly damage last year by a hurricane. Ron notes it is not parked in the display area at this time."
One could surmise this may the Mitchell in question. Easy, Gary!
