But, But... I already told him he could go to Brownsville with you and he got so excited. His name is Trigger, btw, are you going to change it?? Ya know, I think you could train him to go up the airstair on the Big Black A26 with just a little effort on your part. Just imagine what a hoot that would be if you rode him up and down the flight line during the show at Abilene?? You could dye him black and fit right in with your black airplanes. People would just go wild about it and your picture would go around the world. Uh, I think the term now is "go viral". You just need a more open mind to new things, see? JR

This just in from CNN: good news, some of our new parts for the left main gear just came in from fabrication. Just need the overhauled brake assembly and two plating jobs to be finished now and it can start going back together. And no, Duck Driving Lady, these are not hobbles for the pony. Just whistle and he will come running. Will even fetch a stick if you throw it. See, just a lot like a little dog. You sure you don't want to pick him up before Spring Fling on the 31st? He needs a good home! JR PS, the green ones are the old parts. You can see the pitting in the threads and plate of the originals. Jerry D did the magic this time. Thanks, Jerry

Just got my first A-26 coins today. Great job on the design, whoever gets credit for that. They look really nice. Looks good on the shelf next to my ACA and special ops coins. Fast service too.

Randy, it was a collaborative effort. Both JR's and Dana worked on the design. Should have looked something like the above if the vendor did them right. I have not seen the finished product yet. Dana has nearly sold out of the first batch I think. They went quick. Glad you liked them. We will get the patches out soon and then the T shirts. Thanks, JR

They're both nice, but my vote would deinitely be for the one on the right. Probably would cost more due to more colors??
Question: 1. Are they going to be "Iron-on"
2. Will it be sized so it could be sewn/ironed onto a hat?

A decal would be nice too!

Yep, the one on the right would be harder to do because of the colors and relatively small size of the airplane. The patch will be 4 in diameter as it looks right now. No plans have been made for a smaller version, but that might be a good answer to put on a hat. They will not be iron on type patches though. I will pass your suggestions back to the design team. Thanks, JR

OK, here is a real mystery because I sure don't know the answer to this one!! Yeah, I know... rarely happens, but I can't find it in the doggone book. This little tank resides in the inboard side of the right main wheel well. There is not a counterpart in the left side. So what the heck does this thing do? Anybody?? Bueller?? Anyone?? JR

Video update of what's going on in the restoration project. We'll be doing more of these, more frequently.

Well, greetings from NJ this evening!! Or should I say, hey, how u doin? Let's seeeeeee, nobody has taken a guess at the little black tank in the wheel well yet??? Am hoping somebody can help us out with the ID cause we dunno either. Maybe we should start a pool to take it out and see what it does. $5 per square. I can see one of the squares being "it do nuttin". Another is "it holds the wing on". Maybe one that says "it automatically squirts oil on any restoration judges at Oshkosh who make critical remarks". Huuummm, help me out here Randy, Dewayne, Rick, Muddyboots, CAPFlyer, O2Lady, OBGF, Hawkeye... what could some of the other squares be?? Anybody?? I think probably 20 squares would cover it, don't you? On another note, nobody else but Randy has expressed an opinion about the patch designs. HUH? I just knew this bunch would love to jump on that?? What's up with that? Cmon, give it your best shot. We really want your opinion. Rick, Taigh, Crewdawg, back to you on the little black tank?????? Sure don't want to take it out and discover it was the targeting pod for feral hogs!! :-) The Ace Hog Extermination Co of Texas!! JR
