The line up is starting to come together. Now, if only we can bring up a pair of P-47's from Tennessee...

Yes, you can have too many Mustangs and definitely not enough Thunderbolts! Bring on the P-47's, the real work horses of WWII.

40% of the Friday Taxiway Photography, Saturday and Sunday Photo Tour/Photo Pit Slots for the 2014 TOM show are sold.

We anticipate selling out earlier this year than any other time in the past.

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.

C-46 and P-63 is worth the $50 right there and the flight up from Florida. Hopefully both show up, because I got excited like this over the Mossy and the Schwab last year at this time of the year too.

I saw no reason for a respected, contributing member to replace the thoughtful post about attending airshows based apon the scheduled appearance of certain aircraft just because another non-contributing member gets his panties in an uproar over a "signature".........

You completely missed the point sir. The text of the post and the signature have been edited. My comment is completely out of context now. Guess I should have quoted the post.

Any hoo...no "panties in an uproar" over the sig, just didn't appreciate criticism of people promoting their air shows in order to generate advance sales, as was written in the last paragraph of the original post. The previous sig, in context with what was said in the post, seemed ironic to me. I thought it a bit of a rant. That's all. No personal disrespect to the contributing member was intended. As a matter of fact, I thought my comment, unlike yours, showed some restraint.

People put a ton of effort and money into organizing air shows and the money generated by early sales helps in many ways. I agree that if you're a fair weather attendee or are only looking to see a specific aircraft you should wait until the last minute to purchase. However, I think there are many people who look forward to "saving a few bucks" and plan on going/supporting the air show regardless of the possibilities of weather or fate changing the lineup. I am an unabashed "cheerleader" of any group that has the means and desire to run an air show these days.

Mark Allen M, please accept my apology if any offence was taken.

Your lowly, humble, non-contributing member, Rick.
