That B-24 has no guns! Was this being ferried over? I know they did not come out of the factory with guns until the military took ownership.., so maybe she is being flown from factory to a base? Or am I just being retarded?

Lot of cool old pics! Thanks for sharing. The pic of the statue looks a lot like the statue in Jackson Square New Orleans, but what I see of the buildings in the background don't line up.

I do a lot of research of images and structures around MacDill in the ww2 era and in my opinion, none of the B-19 pictures in this thread was taken at MacDill. I see nothing in the background that suggests MacDill and of all the images I have ever seen of the B-29s at MacDill, I have never seen them parked at 90 degrees to each other either, that doesnt mean it never happened, just that I have not seen it.
